Ryan has currently signed on to be the head coach of the new Caledon Golden Hawks. Formally the Assistant Coach of the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League. Ryan also is a Guest coach the OHF/OHL Under 16 Program of Excellence. Ryan has playing experience with the Detroit Red Wings of the NHL as well as Cincinatti Mighty Ducks, Grand Rapids Griffins and Hamilton Bulldogs of the AHL. Also a Memorial Cup winner with the Barrie colts. Ryan will work closely with all players in the program with their skill development as well as being a Head Coach.

Several volunteers will be casted for each position. There are two positions available for each. If you are applying for a assistant coaching position, or trainer position please attach your resume with your info.

Main Camp

Main Camp is a three day event beginning the 16th and carrying on to the 18th and 20th.

Being held at Caledon East Arena. Each day of camp is 1 ½ hours in length. Cost of camp is $100 for the three days. For returning athletes from prospect camp the cost will be $80. If you are returning from prospect camp to main camp you must bring your prospect jersey. As this will be your same number in main camp. You must register with Bill Hawkins Assistant GM.

Money must be paid by cheque to Caledon Golden Hawks Inc. Your cheques can be dropped off in person, or mailed to Bill Hawkins - Assistant General Manager at Hawkstone Sports located in Bolton. CALEDON GOLDEN HAWKS 2010/2011 PROSPECT CAMP

The Caledon Golden Hawks are a brand new team in the extremely competitive Georgian Mid-Ontario Hockey League. We have held evaluation skates through May. Those of you who attended and we would like to come back to Prospect Camp will be receiving an email.

However due to the short notice on our evaluation skates we have open spots available for camp.

Golden Hawks set to fly in GMOHL

I hope that everyone is enjoying the off-season and are training hard for the upcoming season. I wanted to share some exciting news regarding a venture that was started over 2 years ago. After what seemed like a never ending process; a couple of hockey crazed associates and I were finally given approval by the Ontario Hockey Association to operate the Caledon Golden Hawks in the GMOHL for the 2010 – 11 season.
